He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Moore and Eva Moore; his wife Rosemary Moore; and his daughter Lynn Shearin. He is survived by: his children, Jock Moore of Morris, Donald Moore of Morris, Daniel Moore of Morris, Regina Conway (Greg) of Dubuque, Russ Thayer (Lisa) of Surprise, Reece Thayer (Judy) of Morris and Rena Menozi (Mark) of Morris; and his son-in-law Dan Shearin. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
