He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Winkel and Mary Edna Winkel (Sullivan); his wife Kathryn Barra; his siblings, Bernard Winkel and Florence Gollick (John); and his brother-in-law Clyde Craig.
He is survived by: his siblings, Theresa Craig of Lonsdale, Arkansas, Leo Winkel (Judy) of Morris and Duane Winkel; and his sister-in-law JoAnn Wills (Norman) of Platteville, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in George's name to the charity of the donor's choice.
