He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Paul and Mary Inez Borders (Sneed). He is survived by: his wife Pearl Borders of Diamond; and his children, Margaret Howard of Rockledge, IL, Janice Rossi (Peter) of Morris, Bonnie Gill (Richard) of Cody and Claude Borders of Las Vegas, Nevada. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials in Gene's memory may be made to Braceville United Methodist Church.
