He is survived by: his children, Leonard (Mary) of Morris, Clara McCarthy (Mark) of Morris and Cheryl Smith (Alan) of Morris; his daughter-in-law Kathy Smith; his grandchildren, Aaron Smith of Indiana, Mark McCarthy, Jr. (Angie) of Michigan, Brenda Walsh (Tim) of Morris, Melissa McCarthy of Morris, Karl Smith (Jessica) of Morris, Tina Smith of Morris and Nic Smith (Beth) of Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Morgan, Tucker Smith, Josie and Colin Walsh; and his siblings, Georgie Henderson of Coal City and Jerry Smith (Marty) of Streator.
