He was predeceased by: his parents, Elias Orton and Lida Orton (Shurson); his grandson Matthew Orton; his son-in-law Gary Williamson; and his siblings, Orville, Laverne, Duane Orton and Evelyn Gunnerson.
He is survived by: his wife Verna Egeland; his children, Phillip Orton of Bemidji, Paul Orton (Cathy) and Patty Williamson of Lisbon; his grandchildren, Haley Orton (Jason), Wyatt and Eli Williamson; and his great grandchild Kaius Orton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Pacific Garden Mission or donor's choice.
