She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Peterson; her daughter Katherine Bick; and her sister Ruth. She is survived by: her children, Ronald Peterson (Tracey), Gary Peterson and Shari Hill. She is also survived by six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
