It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emmett L. Joneson of Morris, Illinois, born in Seneca, Illinois, who passed away on March 5, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Vera Switzenburg Joneson; and his siblings, Roy, Merve Joneson, Charlotte and Mardel.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Patton; his friends, Linda and Dan Olson; his children, Bobby Joneson (Lisa) of Morris and Michele Oldenburg (Bill) of Plainfield; and his grandchildren, Heidi Orlovich (Jeremy), Michael Joneson (Shawna), Daryk Joneson (Erin), Tiffany Underhill, Melissa Paull (Branden), Eric Scheblein (Kendal) and Amanda Scheblein. He is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren with one on the way and many nieces and nephews.

Due to COVID-19 requirements, safe social distancing will be required and we are asking for visitors to wear their masks while visiting the family.

Memorials may be made in Emmett's name to the family.
