Dorothy Erickson-Smith Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Erickson-Smith of Morris, Illinois, born in Coal City, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lamie and Rose Lamie (Sistek); her former husband Eugene Erickson; her husband Robert Smith; her son Greg Erickson; her grandchildren, Chondra Dohman, Shelly Rae Meyer and David Zeller; her sister Sylvia Reeves; and her friend Meeka.

She is survived by: her daughters, Rita Meyer (Rick) of Gibson City, Jackie Dohman (Frank) of Canton, Wendy Boundy (Larry) of Melvin and Beth Lemons (late Michael) of Mount Vernon, Illinois. She is also survived by stepchildren, seventeen grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
