He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Kaufman and Florence Marie Kaufman (Prault); his wife Audrey Marie Faletti; his brother Carl Kaufman; and his in-laws, Vincent, Mary (Caveglia), Mathew, Fleurette, Vincent R., Betty, Duane Faletti and Delores Kaufman.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Stewart (Rickie) of Morris, Karen Zelko (John Jr.) of Morris, Ann Adkins (Greg) of Roanoke, IL, Janet Severson (Stephen) of East Peoria, IL, Barbara (Gordon Tompkinson, Jr.) of Bolingbrook, IL, Phillip Kaufman (Jennifer Gillett) of College Station, TX and Douglas Kaufman (Elizabeth) of Channahon, IL; his grandchildren, Paul, Brandon, Nathan Stewart, Jennifer, John III, Trent Zelko, Amber Brown, Alyssa Alt, Tyler, Alexander, Mitchell Severson, Gordon III, Caleb Tompkinson, Madison and Grant Kaufman; his brother Gail Kaufman (Marie) of Watseka; and his sisters-in-law, Rose Kaufman of Crescent City, IL and Sharon Faletti of Richland, WA. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren and 5 bonus great grandchildren.
Preferred memorials may be made as gifts in Donald's memory to Immaculate Conception Community Outreach, the Grundy Area Vocational Center for a scholarship to be established in Donald's name (https://payments.efundsforschools.com), or to a charity of the donor's choosing.
