With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dennis E. Kowalczyk of Morris, Illinois, who passed away on July 7, 2021 at the age of 74. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Kowalczyk and Louise Kowalczyk (Meridith); his great grandchild Wyatt Walker Kowalczyk; his brother Stephen; and also Kathleen Hopkins.
He is survived by: his children, Vincent Kowalczyk (Sherrie) of North Carolina and Tina Kowalczyk (Matt Twait) of Morris; his stepdaughter Teresa Billman of Tennessee; his close friend Judy Olson; his siblings, Richard Kowalczyk (late Sharon) of Colorado, Ruth Thomas (late Gary) of Morris, Irene Kent (Mike) of Seneca, Theresa Grabill of Morris and Joyce Slaton (Gene) of Morris; and also Michael Olson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Memorials may be made in Dennis's name to either Lightways Hospice in Joliet (formerly Joliet Hospice), First Christian Church of Morris or to any veterans organization of the donor's choice.
