He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Jacobson and Sadie Jacobson (Fruland); his daughter Peggy Jacobson; his grandson Jason Brown; his siblings, Byron Jacobson, Sedelle and Eleanor Jacobson; and his brother-in-law Robert Keech.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Kindelspire; his children, Gary Jacobson (Sandra) of Broadlands, IL and Linda Brown (Al "Skip") of Diamond; his grandson Matthew Jacobson (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Chaselynn, Brandon, Tim, Chad Brown, Anne Finfrock (Phillip), Gatlin, Rowan, Sawyer Dean, Erica Berry, Vanessa Bishop (Matt Noffsinger), Ava, Ana and Ella Orin; his sister Audrey Keech of Morris; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Jacobson and Larry Lines. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Joliet Community Hospice.
