He is survived by: his wife Gretchen; his children, Donald Kay (Jane), Sandra Wiekert (Charles Watters) and Cindy Helland (Ron); his grandchildren, Phil Kay, Andrew Kay (Colleen), Kristin Eschenbaum (Tyler), Curt Wiekert, Mitchell Wiekert (Jill), Stephenie Wiekert (Colton Amberg), Miranda Helland (Jordan Benton) and Nathan Helland; his great grandchildren, Aidan Kay, Coral Wiekert, James Wiekert and Drew Kay; and his brother-in-law John Mitchell (Marla). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
