She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred C. Brooks and Anna Mae Brooks (Lutz) of Morris; her husband Robert "Denny" Valerio; her son Richard; and her siblings, William, Raymond, Bernard "Sonny", Richard, Robert, Charles Brooks, Helen Hesterman, Myrtle Odom, Dorothy Button, Marjorie Hauge, Beverly Quinn and Norma Aspel.
She is survived by: her son Robert Valerio (Lynn); her grandchildren, Derek Valerio (Jane), Kristin Ehrman (Paul) of Morris, Amanda Reid (Mark) of Crysler and Ontario; her great grandchildren, Nathan, Stephanie Ehrman, Jacob Shroba, Arlene, Gabriel, Caleb, Noah, Aaron and Robert Valerio; and her sister Betty Ann Hehn of California.
