She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Lowdon and Deloris Lowdon (Mackey); her husband William H. Russell; and her brother Larry. She is survived by: her significant other Ron Bottomley; her children, Brian Russell (Sharon), Carl Russell (Lea), Susie White (Jerry), Julie Hansen (Ed), Pam Bottomley, Jim Bottomley (Denise) and Rhonda Swaim (Mike); her grandchildren, Cody Russell (Gabby), Briar Russell, Trevor Russell, Bethany Russell, Abigail Russsell, Timothy Schmanske (Kristina) and Justin Schmanske (Danielle); her siblings, Gail Lowdon, Norman Banks (Amber) and Valerie Marriott; and her sister-in-law Terri Lowdon. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made in Carolyn's name to the First Presbyterian Church in Morris.
