He is survived by: his mother Susan Garcia; his wife Jacqueline "Jaki" Halstead; his children, Alyssa, Petty Officer Avery and Casey Lee Ness; his siblings, Lynn Springer (Jeff), Craig Paszek and Darin Smith; and his stepsister Cindy Graham. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
