He was predeceased by: his parents, B. Frank Kelly and Irene Kelly (Adair); his wife Mary A. Smutka; his sister Mildred Weyel; and his nephew Thomas Kutinac.

He is survived by: his sister Beatrice Brown (Russell) of Everett, WA; and his nieces and nephews, Francine Rosa of Coal City, Victoria Darmody of Omaha Nebraska, Frank Smutka of Justice, IL and Theodore Smutka of Aurora, IL..

Burial will be held privately by the family at Mount Auburn Cemetery with military honors. Due to COVID-19 requirements, safe social distancing will be required and we are asking for visitors to wear their masks while visiting the family.
