He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Erickson and Celeste Severson (Larson); his stepfather Severt Severson; and his siblings, Lois Helland, Norma Berg (Bill), Betty Bowen and Jack Severson.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Erickson (Melnick); his children, Beth Colvin (Bob), Joe Erickson (Kim Kitchen), Roxanne Kolodziej (Steve), Wayne Erickson, Cassandra Ashby (Mark) and Evan Krause (Vickie); his grandchildren, Kevin Colvin (Jessica), Stephen Kolodziej (Britni), Stephanie Colvin, Nicholas Ferry (Katie), Cameron Dooley, Scott Kolodziej, Samantha Pouncy (Isiah), Morgan Erickson, Kara Ferry, Ashton Krause, Madison Erickson, Collin Krause, Zach Erickson and Tai Ferry; his great grandchildren, Stephen Kolodziej, Lillian Pouncy and Evelynn Kolodziej; his siblings, Rich Severson (Pat), Ron Severson (Lois) and Lois Chally; and his brother-in-law Alvin Helland.
In lieu of flowers memorials to the Minooka American Legion Post #1188, in Alden's name would be appreciated.
