She was predeceased by: her parents, John Simon and Mary Simon (Weishaupt); her husband Paul L. Zimmerman; and her sons, Leon and Lyle Zimmerman.
She is survived by: her children, Xandra Smoot (Alford "Buddy") of East Alton, Paula Fraley of Moro, Lionel Zimmerman (Peggy) of Jerseyville, Zane Zimmerman (Mary) of Bunker Hill and Xavier Zimmerman (Tammy) of Wood River; and her daughters-in-law, Georgia Zimmerman of Beaumont, TX and Nance Zimmerman of Bunker Hill. She is also survived by twenty grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.
