He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Helmkamp and Marie Helmkamp (Kuethe). He is survived by: his wife Patricia Helmkamp (Hawks); his daughters, Sue Ellen Rayborn (Tom) of Alton and Nancy Kessinger of Fosterburg; his grandchildren, Cristalle Turner (Dustin), Nathanael Rayborn (Christine), Stephanie Petroline, Anna Meffert (Keith), Sarah Warner (Steven) and Emma Brake (Dalton); and his brothers, Richard Helmkamp (Pat) of Lakeland, Florida and Les Helmkamp (Anna Marie Coultas). He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
