He was predeceased by: his parents, Chester "Joe" Sherman Teets and Nellie Clyde Teets (Sides); his wife Madonna Bushur; and his siblings, David Teets, Marjorie Caroni and Patricia Klingler.
He is survived by: his son Brian Teets (Maria) of Montrose; his grandchildren, Logan of Montrose, Rachael of Montrose and Brittany Teets of Montrose; and his siblings, Robert Teets (June) of Jewett, John Teets of Edgewood, Illinois., Clara Albert (Jim) of Lapeer, Michigan, Alta Hess (Hallett) of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, Jonell Bell of Effingham and Ruby Rankin of Altamont.
