It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Louise King of Montrose, Illinois, born in Mattoon, Illinois, who passed away on April 28, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Clifford and Blanche Wisley (Phelps); her former husband Thurman Etchison; her husband Richard H. King; her siblings, Gene Wisley and Ruby Ware; her daughter Brenda; her son-in-law Jerry Bickers; and her stepdaughter Dawn King Girouix (Bob).
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Etchison Patrick (Doug) of Mattoon, IL and Samantha King Milleville (Gary) of Montrose, IL; her stepchildren, Judy King Ellis of Montrose, IL, Rick King (Donna) of Mattoon, IL and John King (Baby) of Singapore; and her close friend Dan Dasenbrock of Effingham, IL.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 12 step grandchildren.
