He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Verdeyen and Vena Verdeyen (Gilmore); his wife Marie Lewis; and his siblings, Carl Verdeyen and Marie Fletcher.
He is survived by: his children, Tom Verdeyen (Connie) of San Diego, CA and Cathy Rentfrow (Clete) of Effingham; his grandchildren, Tina Gwizdalski of Naples, FL, Shelley Beery (David) of Monticello, Kyle Rentfrow (Elizabeth) of Mt. Vernon and David Verdeyen of Sheridan, WY; and his great grandchildren, Blake Gwizdalski, Sophia Beery, Isabella Beery, Kylee Rentfrow, Adam Verdeyen and Koren Verdeyen.
Memorials may be made in memory of Ralph to the donor's choice.
