She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Thoele and Deloris Thoele; and her sister Luann. She is survived by: her children, Ellissa (Edric Schwartz) and Jeremy (Sarah Mette); her husband Dave; and her grandchildren, Graham, Breckin, Everett, McKenna and Tucker. She is also survived by her five brothers and four sisters.
