She was predeceased by: her parents, Lummis Earl and Corinthia Elizabeth Wallace (Diel); her husband Paul E. Wells; and her siblings, Kathryn Russell, Vera Hetzer, Virginia Keigley, Ruby Lowry, Norma Grisamore, Ruth Pierce, Donald Wallace and Russell Wallace.
She is survived by: her children, David Wells (Linda) of Effingham, Illinois, Stephen Wells (Judy) of Teutopolis, Illinois and Nancy Reed (Ron) of Effingham, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Brian Wells of Mt. Vernon, Illinois, Beth Miller (Adam) of Springfield, Missouri, Daren Rich (Beccah) of St. Charles, Missouri, Matthew Reed, Brandon Reed of Effingham, Illinois, Scott Turner (Lisa) of Newton, Illinois, Sara Blickem (Adam) of Teutopolis, Illinois, Gina West (Adam) of Louisville, Illinois and Ben Wells (Kelli) of Teutopolis, Illinois; and her brother-in-law Jack Pierce (Marty) of Mattoon, Illinois.. She is also survived by her family and grandchildren/great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Centenary United Methodist Church - Effingham (203 E Grove Ave, Effingham, IL 62401). A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Island Creek Cemetery.
