With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Leona A. Miller of Montrose, Illinois, born in Dieterich, Illinois, who passed away on July 19, 2020 at the age of 100. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Leona A. Miller to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Haack and Louisa Haack (Schormann); her husband Floyd A. Miller; her son Terry D. Miller; her daughter-in-law Maria Lynn Miller; and her siblings, Marvin Haack (Ardelia), Alvin Haack (Dorothy), Robert Lee Haack and Betty Wachtel (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her children, Daryl Miller of Montrose, Dennis Miller (Jane) of Montrose and Brenda Carpenter (Paul) of Scottsdale, AZ; her sister Evelyn Miller of Montrose; and her sisters-in-law, Rhea Hartman of Shumway and Helen Miller of Effingham. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery Fund, Dieterich Community Civic Center, Heartland Senior Living, or HSHS Hospice Southern Illinois.
