He was predeceased by: his daughter Lori Hammer; his grandson Jeremy Wagner; his wife Carole; his sibling Sherwin Hammer; and his parents, Philip Hammer and Eva Hammer.
He is survived by: his son Steven Hammer; his grandchildren, PJ, Hannah, Molly, Michael Hammer and Lindsey Wagner; and his sibling Bernie.
