He was predeceased by: his parents, James Leo and Jennie A. McMahon (Elliot); his granddaughter Torie McMahon; and his siblings, Larry, Darrell and Beverly Cole.
He is survived by: his wife Janet of Montrose; his children, Kurt McMahon (Tracy) of Toledo, James "Tony" Wallace (Laura) of Bloomsburg, PA, Bri Griffith (Ty) of Effingham and Sandi Wallace of Belmond, IA; and his grandchildren, Latham McMahon (Josie), Keith McMahon, Charlotte Griffith, Sutton Griffith, Christophe Roberts (Tanya), Travis Roberts (Kami) and Audrey Wallace. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the American Cancer Society or to the Montrose Veteran's Memorial.
