He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Starwalt and Lesta Starwalt (Alumbaugh); his wife Evelyn Marietta Yaw; his son Donald Starwalt; and his siblings, Jack Starwalt, Ivan Starwalt, Minnie Kibler, Edith Marrs and Maudeline Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Starwalt (Deb) of Teutopolis, Illinois, Sharon Trostle (Terry) of Toledo, Illinois and Terri McGinnis (Bill) of Jewett; his daughter-in-law Shirley Starwalt of Gila; and his grandchildren, Travis Starwalt (Lisa), Todd Starwalt, Michelle Doedtman (Lee), Christina Sowers (Bill), Jason McGinnis (Elizabeth), Amy Reynolds (Andrew), Jolynn Brown (Johnny) and Mandy Lewis (Cody).
In loving memory of Dana, memorials may be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
