It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William D. Nichols of Monticello, Illinois, born in Pontiac, Michigan, who passed away on March 25, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Nichols and Amelia Nichols (Strong); his wife Eva Mae Walden; and his siblings, Glenn Nichols, Mildred Feole (Harley) and Alma Turner (Cecil).
He is survived by: his son Robert Nichols (Donna) of Springfield; his granddaughters, Kris Blazek (Ken) of Mansfield and Kendra Watts (Rodger) of Athens; his great grandchildren, Joshua Blazek, Amber Blazek, Savannah Watts and Mitchell Watts; and his great great grandchildren, Aubrie and Matthew Blazek.
