Pankau of Monticello, Illinois, born in Bondville, Illinois, who passed away on August 5, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Pankau and Regina Pankau (Hausman); his daughter Karen Quick; his stepson Harry Sutphen; and his sister Thelma Sparks.
He is survived by: his son Tim Pankau (Jill) of Monticello; his stepchildren, Bruce Sutphen of Lewistown and Debbie Winder (Alan) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Ryan Pankau (Amanda), Kelli Parsons (Tony), Amber Eubanks (Bryan), Seth Quick (Amber) and Andy Quick; his stepgrandchildren, Barbara Mills, Bruce Sutphen, Jr., Andrew Sutphen, Jarrod Winder (Carolyn), Abbey Cook and Autumn Micklis (Robert); and his brothers, Bob Pankau of Effingham and Harold Pankau (Martha) of Tuscola. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren; 3 step great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to St. Philomena Catholic Church or the Piatt County Nursing Home.
