It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Veronica A. Ostdiek of Monticello, Illinois, born in Wood River, Nebraska, who passed away on July 12, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Leo and Mary Ann Rowley (Caveny); her husband Marion Alphonse Ostdiek; and her siblings, Mary Elizabeth Rowley and Bernard Rowley.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Ostdiek (Karen) of Ellicott City, MD, Susan Sparks (Jeff) of Anchorage, AK, Ann Goetz (Paul) of Grand Island, NE and Mary Cecava (Mike) of Monticello, IL; and her grandchildren, Peter Cecava, Stephanie Scott (Shawn), Andrew Cecava (Marie), Kathryn Sparks (Stephen Morrison), John Sparks (Ashley), Jennifer Sparks, Jane Ostdiek, Deborah Ostdiek and David Ostdiek (Jamie). She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
