It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Sally Barr Alexander (Monticello, Illinois), born in Charlottesville, Virginia, who passed away on August 3, 2019, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Madison III and Sarah Elizabeth Thomas Barr; her spouse Arlie Allen Alexander; and her niece Jamie McClure Wells. She is survived by: her children, Craig Alexander (Leslie) of Monticello and Lindsay Coleman (Chase) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Ella, Lane and Carolina; and her sisters, Betty McClure of Charlottesville, VA and Mary Alice Colo of Rocky Mount, N. C.. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association, The American Cancer Society, or an organization of the donor's choice in memory of Sally.
