He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Carr and Edith Carr (O' Daffer); his wife Joan Schroeder; his son Gregory; and his siblings, Sherm, Don, Jack, Pete, Bill, Jim, Jean (Chandler), Audrey (Adams), Annie (Hall), Sharon (Shaw), Dorothy (Sprague), Helen (Swigert), Doris (Maxwell) and Kay.
He is survived by: his children, Rick Carr (Gina), Jill Pankau (Tim), Steve Carr (Chris) and Rob Carr (Sundus); and his sister Carolie Perkins (Mike). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Monticello United Methodist Church.
