With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert David Scott (Monticello, Illinois), born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on January 28, 2023 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. "June" Scott and Geraldine Trenkle Scott; his siblings, Barbara, Bill and Nancy; and his son James William "Jimmy".
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lucille Fenton; his children, LuAnn (Greg Meyer), Jean (Richard Wittenborn), Colleen Hoffman (Jeff) of White Heath, Bob (Kathleen) and Steve (Susan Ramsey); his grandchildren, Caleb Hoffman (Vanessa Winters) of Monticello, Ben Bergin (Mandy Minor) of Waimea, Kindra Meyer (Ilia Blinderman) of Los Angeles, Colin Scott (Andrea) of Atascocita, Justin Hoffman (Tori) of Oakland, Maria Scott-Wittenborn of London, England, Katie Hand (Nick) of St. Louis, Zach Scott of Cleveland, Nick Scott-Wittenborn of Baltimore, Sarah Scott of Rocky Mount, Grace Scott of Washington, D. C. and Liam Scott of Boston, Massachusetts.; and his great grandchildren, Dillon Hoffman, Jake Scott, Riley Bergin, Ada Hoffman, Reagan Scott and Bryson Bauer.
In lieu of flowers, please donate in Bob's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital where son Jimmy was a patient in 1964.
