He was predeceased by : his mother Elizabeth Pearl Blacker Alexander; and his siblings, Lawrence, William, Thelma Hayden and Etta Belle Hamilton.

He is survived by : his father Charles William Alexander; his sons, Chuck (Sherry) of Marion, Iowa, Bob (Linda) of Monticello, Illinois and Steve (Cindee) of Cresson, Texas.; and his wife Clara Darlene Moore of Peter's Evangelical Reformed Church. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home (215 E Washington St, Monticello, IL 61856). A funeral service was held on Monday, June 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
