She was predeceased by: her parents, Raleigh Chapman and Nondas Chapman (Livingood); her husband Raymond Verrel Carson; and her brothers, Victor Chapman and Dean Chapman.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Carson (Tammy) of Urbana and Wayne Carson (Missy); her grandchildren, Katie Carson, Kevin Carson II, Kelsey Carson, Blake Carson (Amy), Brittany Carson, Courtney Carson and Ashley Carson; her great grandchildren, Addison Carson and Gabriella Gutierrez; and her siblings, Ruth Byerly (Ron), Fern Olinger, Dorothy White, Darlene Staley, Kay Klepzig (Dwight) and Danny Chapman. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
