He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Brian and Minnie Mae Brian (Ledeker); his former wife Virginia L. 'Ginny Barlow; his wife Nancy Barlow; and his grandchildren, Cory Porter and Darci Porter.

He is survived by: his children, Larry Brian of Monticello, Edith Hall (Jackie) of Bement, Natha Porter (Ed) of Monticello, Vicki Simmons (Bozo) of Monticello and Wanda Hall (Harold) of Bement; and his stepdaughter Sarah Phillips (Marc) of Ohio. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 step-grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 11 step-great grandchildren.
