It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John W. Taylor of Monticello, Illinois, born in Blue Mound, Illinois, who passed away on November 8, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Lealon Taylor and Hazel Taylor (McLaughlin); his spouse Charylene Maye Fisher; his brothers, Robert Taylor and Kenneth Taylor; and his nephew David Taylor.

He is survived by : his siblings, Larry Taylor (Joyce) of Springfield and Pat King (Jack) of Blue Mound. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Monticello Christian Academy.
