Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean Stoddard of Monticello, Illinois, born in Custer Park, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on August 21, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Schaal and Mabel Schaal (Kilpatrick); her husband Bert; and her brother William Schaal. She is survived by: her children, Rick Stoddard, Julie Clodfelter (Jeff), Bruce Stoddard (Carolyn), Tom Stoddard (Nancy) and Mike Stoddard (Deb Fortman); her grandchildren, Jeremy Stoddard (Stephanie), Ryan Stoddard (Amy), Michael Clodfelter, Mark Clodfelter (Natasha), Andy Clodfelter, Jonathan Clodfelter (Lauren), Kaylin Westray (Josh), Avery Stoddard (Val), Bethany Stoddard, Will Stoddard (Becca), Weston Stoddard (Micaylee) and James Stoddard (Kayla); her sister Mary Bach; and her close friend Holli. She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Monticello or the Piatt County Nursing Home Foundation.
