Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Jean Burse of Monticello, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away at the age of 89, on September 26, 2022. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Frances and Helen Irene Witt, Jr. (Seibert); and her son Michael. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Burse of Monticello, Elizabeth Carey (Roy) of Bement, Katherine Cozad of Talladega, AL and Victoria Foster (Doug) of White Heath; and her brother James D. Witt (Cyndy) of Monticello. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to OSF St. Jude Children's Hospital of Peoria or Maple Point Activities.
