With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Darlene M. Floyd of Monticello, Illinois, who passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Mackey and Bessie Mackey (Groomes); her spouse Winfred Floyd; and her sons, David Floyd and Daniel Floyd.

She is survived by: her son Richard Floyd (Sue) of Forsyth; and her brothers-in-law, Don Floyd of Lebanon, TN. and Russell Floyd of Decatur. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Decatur.
