He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Turner and Cora Turner (Thomas); his spouse Shirely A. Meece; his son-in-law Scott Warnick; and his brother John Turner.
He is survived by: his children, Gary Turner (Andrea) of Cisco, Carla Taylor (Wes) of Monticello, Janet Warnick of Monticello and Mike Turner (Joy) of Bement; his grandchildren, Courtney, Derek, Caroline, Audrey, Zeb and Wyatt; and his great grandchildren, Rebecca, Bridget, Mark, Gwendolyn, Gabriella and Sutton.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mackey-Wright Funeral Home (215 E Washington St, Monticello, IL 61856). A graveside service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Monticello Township Cemetery (916 Township Rd, Monticello, IL 61856).
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Senior Nutrition Program or St. Jude Children's Hospital.
