He was predeceased by: his parents, Bert Huisinga and Geneva Huisinga (Goken); his sister Beulah; and his brother-in-law Richard Robson. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Huisinga of Monticello; and his children, Rob Huisinga (Cynthia) of Monticello, Dave Huisinga (Debby) of Monticello, Gary Huisinga (Annette) of Monticello and Amy Huisinga (Allison England) of Chicago. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Monticello United Methodist Church, Kirby Medical Center, or the Huisinga Family Scholarship for Monticello FFA.
