With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Helm of Monticello, Illinois, born in Bement, Illinois, who passed away on June 1, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Helm and Reva Helm (Bennett); his son Ricky Helm; his sisters, Leona Helm and Doris Peoples; and his wife Donna.

He is survived by: his children, Greg Helm (Tabatha) of White Heath, Tonya Wagner (Bo) of O'Fallon and Lisa Hettinger (Brad) of Monticello; his grandchildren, Ashley Alexander (Meagan), Rachel Steidinger (Jordan), Austin Beckett (Andrea), Lindsey Helm (MJ) and Aaron Helm; and his great grandchildren, Kayden, Jensen, Kaisyn and Harrison.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
