With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles E. Hardy of Monticello, Illinois, born in Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on October 7, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Hardy and Irene Hardy (Miller); his wife Rosemary Sansone; and his siblings, Phyllis Hardy and Joseph Hardy.

He is survived by: his daughter Jacqueline Nevinger (Wright); his son-in-law Ronald of West Lafayette, IN; his grandchildren, David and Rachael; his great grandchildren, Samantha, Noah, Nathan, Patrick and Anthony; his great great grandchildren, Remy and Elsie; and his brother Jerry Hardy of Bishop, CA..

Memorials may be given to the St. Philomena Catholic Church.
