It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Carolyn Ann Timmons of Monticello, Illinois, born in White Heath, Illinois, who passed away on December 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Bowdre and Eunice Bowdre (Perkins); her husband Richard L. Timmons; and her brothers, Carl and Larry.
She is survived by: her brother Duane Bowdre of Bement; her children, Deb McPheeters (Mark) of Monticello and Rick Timmons (Kathy) of Monticello; and her grandchildren, Cristy Shafer, Jamie McPheeters (Polly), Beth Brown (David) and Megan Jones (Chis). She is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Piatt County Nursing Home or the Monticello United Methodist Church.
