She was predeceased by: her parents, John Auten and Pansy Auten (Barnes); her daughters, Barb Burke and Mary Gallaher; and her sister Pauline Denton.
She is survived by: her husband Russell Karnes of Monticello; her children, Karen Rocha of Champaign, John Karnes of Monticello and Becky Powell of Adrian, MO; and her sister Lois Crispin of Tucson, AZ.. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to the Monticello Church of the Nazarene.
