She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wanona Engel and Charles Cyrus Engel; her siblings, Louann, Bill and Bob; her children, Jan Ellen Gantz (Stephen Lyons), Beth Annalee Manuel (Jess) and Steven Howard Gantz (Michele Dillavou); her grandsons, Brandon Brock (Kim) and Tyler Brock (Suzanna); her great grandchildren, Brayden Brock and Jonah Brock; and also, Rose Lyons Coan, Tricia Fritz and Amanda Manuel.
Memorials can be made to The Rotary Foundation, an organization much-admired by both Betty Jean and Howard for its worldwide, humanitarian work.
