It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Amaryllis Marie Schniepp of Monticello, Illinois, born in Muncie, Indiana, who passed away on April 17, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wesley Chandler and Ruby Chandler; her significant other Kenneth Schniepp; her children, Linda, Sharon, Jim Schniepp of Louisville and Kathy Holt (Larry) of Bement; her son-in-law Randy Bowers of Garland; her grandchildren, Aaron (Erica), Mandy (Scott), Nathanael and Katie; her great grandchildren, Samuel, Lydia, Alana and Judah; and her cousin Toni of Muncie, Indiana.. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren, or great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Open Hearts Foursquare Church in Monticello, Illinois.

“I have looked and looked trying to find her address since my Mom died and I got Kenneth's obituary. I loved your Mama. She was my sister Ruth Portwood's Sunday School Teacher. I taught you Linda in 2 yr old children church and Beginner Sunday School. We were good friends. I missed her Christmas cards and have tried and tried after my card came back to find her. So sorry for your loss. My Mom passed 12 yrs ago. My oldest brother Glenn June 1, 2020. And now my brother Charles last week.”
