With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Victor Godinez Jr. (Montgomery, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on April 25, 2023 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Victor Godinez and Vivian Godinez. He is survived by: his wife Larie Godinez (Rice); his children, Joseph Godinez (Michelle), Michael Godinez (Heather) and Joan Mundsinger (Andrew); his sisters, Juanita Navarro (Manuel), Carmen Keldie (Reed) and Maria VanPelt (late Raymond); his brothers-in-law, Gary Rice and Terry Rice (Arlene); and also Bill Baumann. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Rover Rescue, P.O. Box 4074, Aurora, IL 60507 or roverrescue.org in hopes that donations will encourage animal adoptions and rescues.
